Agent Online Training Program

The aim of the NSW Electoral Commissions Online Training Program is to educate prospective agents on their responsibilities and obligations under the Electoral Funding Act 2018.

You do not need to work your way through this course in a single session. Work at your own pace and leave a module at any time.  The length of time taken to complete the course and assessment is between one and two hours. A copy of the online training program content is available to download for your convenience Agent Online Training Program (PDF).

You must complete the NSW Electoral Commission’s (NSWEC) online training program which includes a multiple choice assessment before you can be appointed as an agent. The maximum number of times that you attempt the assessment is five and you must achieve a score of at least 80% to successfully complete the training program.

Following your successful completion of the training program you will receive a confirmation email from the NSWEC. If you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder right away before contacting us, in case it is automatically deleted by your junk mail folder. You can be appointed as an agent from then. After you have been appointed as an agent by a political party, associate entity or a third-party campaigner, the NSWEC must be notified of your appointment.
